Mindfulness exercise in everyday life.

So much frustration in allday life. There is so much that annoys me, depresses me or presses me down in my helplessness. Why focus on the negative all the time? There is definitely a lot of good things to discover in everyday life.

Discover the good

I sit down comfortably on my yoga cushion and take my self handcrafted mala in hand. I love it because it is a product of my own hands. Crafted with a leather cord, bone and wood beads and a tassel made of wool.

One bead by one, I think of what's good in my life. I should find as much as my mala has pearls. Quite a lot, now that I am finally taking time to take a closer look.

Examples:

  • I am happy to be healthy.
  • It's wonderful to have some nice colleagues.
  • I'm thankful for my quiet pleasant home.
  • My cats look so sweet when they sleep..
  • The delivery man today was so friendly.
  • I love the beautiful lilac in our yard.
  • The sun is shining.
  • Der Regen gießt meine B
  • The rain pours my balcony flowers and I can relax in the meantime.
  • How polite the neighbours were today.
  • The Youngsters from across the street greet very kindly always.
  • Today I cooked a tasty dinner and I suceeded very well.
  • The newly purchased stone pine oil smells so marvellous.

and so on.

A wonderful thankfulness exercise to reflect all the positive aspects in my life. A good exercise also to formulate these things consciously  positively too.
