It is not a profession that one chooses, it is fate which calls a person to be a shaman.
The term "shaman" (saman) comes from the Sibirian tribes of the Tunguses and means "someone who sees within the dark".
A Shamanic Practitioner is a person who can connect to the spirit world through a change in consciousness and act as a bridge to our ordinary reality.
