After doing a lot for the Above, I want to perceive the Below also. From the mind to the roots. Such as a tree without roots, I would lose my footing without contact to the ground.
To get into silence and rest, it helps to ground yourself. Many people do this intuitvely while dedicated to a "headless" activity like a hobby.
- Dancing
- Singing
- Needlework
- Painting (pictures, mandalas)
- Crafting
- Jogging
- Gardening
- Doing pottery
- Cleaning (yes, tiding up can be quite spiritual, especially mucking out and seperating from old things as a kind of a letting go exercise)
But also:
- Embracing a tree
- Walking barefoot over the grass and feeling the grass and the ground consciously
- Imagining, to be rooted with the feet and let the frequency of Mother Earth's hearthbeat flow through ones body
